Accountant in Practice

This successful accountancy practice has been achieving consistent growth, which has led to the need for an additional Accountant/ Client Manager to join the team.

Previous experience working at a similar level within accounting practice is essential. Consideration will be given to candidates who are qualified by experience or AAT/ part-qualified as the practice values experience and knowledge.

The Accountant/ Client Manager position will be highly varied, covering

• Meeting new and existing clients and nurturing business relationships.
• Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and Ltd Companies
• There will be an element of bookkeeping and preparation of client VAT returns.
• As an integral part of the accounts preparation, you will be completing corporation tax returns.
• For some clients, you will also be producing monthly management accounts and relevant KPIs to highlight important information about their business.

The clients are from many industry sectors, which means your daily routine will be varied and interesting.

This permanent position is office-based, and the working hours are 8.30 - 4.30.
