Accountant - International Trading Company

My Client is an Import/ export company based in North London, specializing in delivering top-quality material products across global markets. They are now looking for an Accountant used to working in an import/export environment to join their team.

The ideal candisdate is ambitious (probably newly qualified or finalist) Acoountant who is looking for a role that can offer real broadening of experience and career growth.

This is a new role created by the Company’s continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform all accounting duties monthly, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

· Manage and complete all import and export documentation daily, maintaining meticulous records and facilitating smooth international transactions.

· Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.

· Conduct regular audits and reconcile financial discrepancies.

· Collaborate with external partners to ensure seamless financial operations.

· Manage all the commercial aspect of the business (Insurance, legal, statutory, IT system etc)

Qualifications:

· Minimum qualification of MAAT, CIMA, or similar.

· Proven experience in accounting and financial management.

· Strong understanding of import and export documentation processes.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
