Accountant - Part time

Pure are recruiting for a part time Accountant to support an organisation based in St Ives, this role will initially be on a temporary basis for 3 months while the organisation decide on the longer term plans for the role. 

We can be open to consider hours between 14 and 30 per week and the organisation are open to this being worked across the week or full days. 

Working alongside the Financial Controller this role will take on the following tasks - 

- Assist the Financial Controller with the production of the group monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, KPI's and variance analysis.
- Taking on the day to day finance tasks such as, bank reconciliations, AP & AR processing, cashflow forecasting and managing intercompany transactions
- Manage the fixed asset register
- Production of the quarterly VAT return
- Process monthly payroll
- Support the annual external audit
- Assist with the group monthly re-forecast and annual budget process. 

You must be comfortable taking on the above mentioned tasks with minimal supervision and have strong Excel knowledge. You must be comfortable working within a small team, and be able to prioritise your own workload.
