Accountant - Revenue - Credit Control - Oxford / Hybrid - 50K

A leading scientific instrumentation manufacturer, with a global client base, are seeking a Commercial Accountant for a 9 month maternity cover contract. The Commercial Accountant is responsible for raising invoices, credit control and posting revenue and gross margin journals.

The role is based in East Oxford, OX4, with a hybrid working arrangement (2 days WFH per week).

Commercial Accountant key duties:

• Raising invoices from sales orders
• Raising credit notes
• Managing Accounts Receivable inbox
• Cash collection and allocation
• Month end reconciliation of Sales Ledger
• Raising and posting all revenues and gross margin journals
• Work closely with Accounts Assistant and assist in some mentorship and coaching

The ideal Commercial Accountant will have experience in a similar role and be extremely process driven as well as having the ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
