We’re working with an innovative company at the cutting edge of video editing and content distribution. They’re behind a powerful SaaS platform used by major broadcasters, newsrooms, and creators worldwide — and they’re looking for a sharp, hands-on Accountant to join their tight-knit team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate posting across the general ledger

• Own the month-end close process, including preparing management accounts with clear commentary

• Handle reconciliations across key accounts (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, payroll, etc.)

• Prepare regular cashflow forecasts and monitor company liquidity

• Review and improve financial systems and processes to support growth and efficiency

• Oversee both accounts payable and receivable — managing invoicing, payments, credit control, and reconciliations

• Administer company banking, including payment runs, transaction posting, and account reconciliation

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing (including liaising with HR, handling benefits, HMRC submissions, and year-end tasks)

• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and perform reconciliations

• Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and support the full audit cycle

• Assist senior leadership with project-based financial work and ad hoc analysis

What you'll bring

• Part-qualified accountant with a solid background in general ledger and month-end

• Experience preparing financial statements

• Comfortable with Xero and Excel
