Job Description - Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in our company’s financial management. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, managing a team of accountants, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness, and identify any discrepancies or variances.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present to senior management.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to comply with industry standards and regulations.
Monitor and analyze cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
Mentor, train, and motivate team members to ensure a high level of performance and productivity.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and coordinate with external auditors during annual audit.
Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
