Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager at GoHire Testttt will serve as a key member of our financial management team, responsible for all aspects of accounting operations. This role will involve taking ownership of financial practices and procedures to ensure overall organizational success. The successful candidate will be expected to have comprehensive knowledge of all general accounting principles, along with the ability to lead a team and implement scalable systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal and external use, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
• Coordinate the preparation of annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
• Collaborate with the senior management team to set budgets, assess financial performance, and conduct risk assessments.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a strong team of accounting staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages continuous learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• At least five years of professional accounting experience, with at least two years in a managerial role.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and productivity tools.
• Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports, statements and projections.
