Accounting Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in a key managerial position within the finance department. This position is ideal for individuals who have a solid background in accounting and are looking to take on greater responsibilities while contributing to the success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
• Coordinate and support the annual budget process, providing insights and analysis to senior management.
• Lead a team of accountants, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as financial regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with financial auditing.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA.
