Accounting Manager

Overview

We are looking for a skilled finance professional to take on a managerial position within our accounting department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with the ability to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, providing insights to senior management.
• Oversee the budgeting process and variance analysis, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure timely completion of all audit requirements.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA).
• Experience in financial forecasting and strategic planning.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance.
