Accounting Manager / Financial Controller

This role could be titled Accounting Manager, Senior Manager, or potentially Financial Controller depending on experience. You will oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting within the accounting and finance department. This role would be perfect for someone who is Big 4 trained and has 3-5 years PQE in a high growth business in Industry.

Description

• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes effectively.
• Oversee accounts payable and general ledger functions.
• Oversee stock payments and other highly technical accounting areas.
• Provide detailed financial reports and analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial operations.
• Act as point of contact for external auditors.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a productive team environment.
• Manage Payroll team and supervise monthly payroll for 6 international jurisdictions.

Profile

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• ACA qualified
• Big 4 audit experience
• Intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, multicurrency (6 jurisdictions), payroll, financial reporting, stock based compensation
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Pragmatic in your prioritization in a highly nimble and fast paced environment.
