Accounting Specialist

Christenson Cleaning & Restoration is currently seeking a bookkeeper to join our professional staff. We believe in creating a family friendly work environment where each person is a member of the team. As our bookkeeper, you should possess strong technical and organizational skills in accounting as well as being a self-motivated person. You will be responsible for a variety of projects and ensuring that deadlines are met.

Schedule:

• Full time: M-F 0800-0500pm: 8 hour shift. 32- 40 hours per week.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience providing bookkeeping services
• QuickBooks knowledge preferred—but not required we are willing to train the right person
• General ledger record keeping and monthly bank reconciliation
• Payroll processing- payroll tax payments, quarterly filings, and W2 filings
• Annual 1099 filings
• Experience with Excel
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills

• Hastings, NE 68901: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
