Job Description - Accounting Technician

The Role

We are currently supporting a fantastic client in Washington, Tyne and Wear with their search for an Accounting Technician.

Effectively manage financial transactions and key job-related tasks for the EU region, including month end support.
Ensure all routines are carried out efficiently, effectively, in line with key deadlines and best practice.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounts receivable
Cash management
Cash flow reporting
Bank reconciliations
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Ad-Hoc job specific reporting to Group

The Person

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

AAT Qualified
Familiar with financial and month end processes
Manufacturing experience desirable
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment

OTHER REQUIREMENTS & SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS

Good Excel skills
Ability to organize and prioritise workload
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and effective communicator
