Our client is an established and growing local business looking to appoint an Accounts Administrator to join their existing team.
This is a varied opportunity combining accounts, administration and general office support. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business and play an important role in ensuring the day-to-day administration and financial processes run smoothly.
The successful candidate will receive a full handover and training to ensure they are comfortable with the company's processes and systems.
THE ROLE
This is a varied accounts and administration position suited to someone who enjoys having responsibility across different areas of the business.
You will support the day-to-day running of the office while also carrying out a range of finance and administrative duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Act as a point of contact for incoming calls and general enquiries.
* Deal with customer and supplier queries professionally and efficiently.
* Process information received through customer and internal systems.
* Ensure information is entered accurately and kept up to date.
* Process invoices and payments.
* Support day-to-day accounts administration.
* Assist with weekly payroll processing.
* Maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
* Complete general office administration and documentation.
* Liaise with customers, suppliers and colleagues across the business.
* Ensure relevant paperwork and records are maintained accurately.
* Provide general administrative support as required.
* Assist with other duties to support the smooth running of the business.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who is:
* Organised and highly accurate.
* Confident dealing with people over the telephone.
* Experienced within an accounts or administration environment.
* Comfortable working with figures and financial information.
* Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office.
* Able to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
* Reliable, professional and able to work independently.
