Accounts Administrator

The Role

Working within a small friendly team, we seek an accounts assistant to manage the day to day accounting / bookkeeping using Sage software.

Responsibilities Include
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage accounting software.
Process incoming invoices and payments.
Reconcile turnover figures for all business departments, including, cash & card transactions.
Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger reconciles.
Monthly Cost Valuation Reports.
Weekly BACS supplier payment runs.
Processing of weekly payroll.
Processing of weekly pension contributions.
Monthly CIS submissions and payments.
Answering the telephone and assisting other departments as and when required.

Experience
Experience in a similar role & proficiency in Sage software & bookkeeping processes. Full training will be given for the right candidate.
Good attention to detail and mathematical proficiency/accuracy.
Strong data organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.

The role is full time, temporary, to cover maternity leave, with the option to lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Qualifications
Required:
Sage 50 Accounts experience
Sage 50 Payroll experience
Previous accounting experience
