Accounts and Audit Semi Senior

We are seeking a motivated Part-Qualified Accountant to join our Accounts & Audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career while gaining valuable experience across multiple disciplines The role with be weighted to 70% general accounting with the remainder 30% supporting Audit engagements.

Description

• Prepare financial statements and management accounts for a variety of clients
• Assist with audit fieldwork and compilation of audit files
• Handle accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Provide support with VAT returns and tax computations
• Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
• Work closely with senior team members on more complex assignments

Profile

• Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or AAT studying towards professional qualification
• Demonstrable experience in practice, ideally with exposure to both accounts and audit work
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards
• Proficient with accounting software packages
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Open to working between Chester and Runcorn office locations
