Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior / Senior

TPF Recruitment is excited to support a fantastic, family-run, independent accountancy practice in their search for a dedicated Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team in Hove. This is a superb opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 1 year of practice experience who is eager to progress and develop their career through either the AAT or ACCA qualification.

As a Semi-Senior/Senior Accountant, you will be exposed to a diverse range of responsibilities within a mixed position, ensuring that no two days are the same. This role will provide you with vast exposure to various accounting functions, including but not limited to:

• Preparing financial statements
  
• Handling tax computations and returns
  
• Managing bookkeeping and VAT returns
  
• Assisting with audits (30% of the role)
  
• Supporting and advising clients on accounting and business matters
  

• A minimum of 1 year of practice experience
  
• Ambition to pursue AAT or ACCA qualification
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, family-run environment
  
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
