Accounts and audit senior

Audit & Accounts Senior required to join a leading chartered accountancy firm based in Finchley, Barnet, North London.As Audit and Accounts Senior you will be assisting the partners with delivering the highest quality statutory audit and accounts preparation services. The split with be audit 40% and accounts 60%.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Semi-Senior Accountant looking to broaden their audit exposure. The client base is generally throughout London and surrounding areas and "stay away jobs" are very minimal.

Audit & Accounts Senior Position Overview

• Planning and delivery of audit/accounts assignments (around 30)
• Supervise junior staff during the audit and review their work
• Manage client communication in effective manner
• Deliver the audit files
• Accounts production and review
• Management accounts
• Submitting Company Accounts
• Monitor your assignment budgets pro-actively
• Mentor audit and accounts trainees

Audit & Accounts Senior Position Requirements

• ACA/ACCA part qualified, studying or finalists - or QBE
• The ability to manage workload and deadlines
• Strong audit experience within practice is essential
• Experience preparing audit and accounts files using an electronic system
• Strong leadership experience
• This Audit and Accounts Senior is suitable for an experienced Audit lead, Audit Senior or Audit manager with strong audit and accounts experience within an accountancy practice.

Audit & Accounts Senior Position Remuneration

• Flexible salary dependant on skills and experience - Between £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
• 09.00 - 17.30 Monday-Friday
• 33 days holiday including bank holidays
• Direct partner report
• Ongoing training, support and carer progression
• Based in Finchley, Barnet, North London
