Accounts and Audit Senior

FJA are recruiting for an experienced Accounts and Audit Senior based in the Rochdale area.

Accounts andAudit Senior role:

• Our client is a well-established firm with a 90-year history, currently expanding their Audit department due to continued growth. They are seeking an Accounts and Audit Senior to manage a portfolio of clients, primarily within the corporate SME sector.

Accounts andAudit Seniorresponsibilities:

• Preparation and review of statutory accounts
• Completion of all account’s duties
• Working with a variety of clients
• Completion of the audit process under manager supervision
• Travel to client premises to undertake audit tasks (mileage allowances covered by the business)
• Ongoing training of junior members of the team

Accounts andAudit Seniorrequirements:

• Applicants should ideally be ACA or ACCA part or fully qualified
• Proven track record of audit experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• IT literacy and good working knowledge of accounting software
• Self-motivation and a proactive and positive attitude to learn and develop
• Experience of coaching junior members of audit staff on-site
