This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts and Audit Senior to contribute to the success of a professional services firm in Bristol. The role requires expertise in accounting and finance, with a focus on General all around accounts prep along with personal and corporate tax. The role will also involve a maximum of 20% working on audits.

Description

Conducting some audits for a small selection of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Preparing financial statements and management accounts with accuracy and attention to detail.
Reviewing and analysing financial data to identify areas for improvement.
Supporting clients with tax computations and planning.
Supervising and mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
Working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve departmental goals.
Ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard.Profile

A successful Audit and Accounts Senior should have:

Professional qualification in accounting, either qualified or part qualified ACA or ACCA.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards.
Experience in preparing financial statements and tax computations.
Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
