Job Description - Accounts & Haulage Administrator

Are you someone who has worked in accounts administration and haulage that likes a busy and varied role where there is potential for long term growth. This is job for someone who enjoys working hard, understands the importance of accuracy, wants to learn and progress and enjoys a busy work environment.

The company are a growing company with lots of opportunity and they are a friendly family feel. The location means you do need to drive and it is office based everyday. For the right person this would be a lovely position where you can grow and learn.

Daily duties include

  • Processing new suppliers and customers
  • Managing sub contractors
  • Ordering diesel and monitoring usage and ensuring adequate supplies at all times
  • Dealing with fuel enquiries
  • Posting payments to Sage
  • Credit control, chasing via telephone and email
  • Processing invoices
  • Recharges
  • Issuing PO numbers
  • Accruals
  • Assisting with audit
  • Reconciliations
  • Compliance, checking insurances, vetting and ensuring all relevant certificates are in place
  • Dealing with suppliers

What you will need

  • You will be someone who wants to learn and picks tasks up quickly
  • A team player
  • Accurate and understand the importance of accuracy
  • Comfortable working on Excel
  • A good communicator
  • Have experience in compliance and accounts and administration.
