£38,000 - £40,000 DOE

Our client, a successful and well-established manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Accounts & Payroll Specialist to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role within a supportive, down-to-earth organisation that values accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounts functions, including reconciliations and supplier payments.
Prepare and submit VAT returns and support with year-end accounts.
Process monthly payroll and maintain accurate employee records.
Assist the Management Accountant with monthly reporting and audit preparation.
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes.
Experience & Skills Required:

Proven experience in accounts management and payroll.
Strong working knowledge of Sage 200, payroll systems, and Microsoft Excel.
Experience with VAT returns and year-end submissions.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Background in a manufacturing or production finance environment (desirable).
