Accounts and Tax Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a driven and skilled professional to step into the role of Accounts and Tax Supervisor within a highly respected practice of Chartered Accountants.
We are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in preparing end-of-year accounts and managing both personal and corporate tax obligations. Individuals who have independently managed a client base and provided mentorship to junior team members will be given strong consideration.
Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and evaluating annual financial accounts for a variety of businesses
• Managing and checking self-assessment returns and corporation tax documentation
• Taking responsibility for a set group of client relationships
• Mentoring, training, and supervising less experienced colleagues
• Fostering client rapport and delivering expert guidance on accounting and taxation matters

Person Specification:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Sound knowledge of prevailing tax rules and accounting regulations
• Demonstrated success in overseeing client portfolios and guiding teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and contribute effectively within a team dynamic
