Accounts & Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is supporting a leading firm of chartered accountants based near Ashford who are looking for an Accounts & Tax Manager to join their successful team. This is a key role offering both responsibility and progression, working with a broad mix of clients across Kent and the South East.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and preparing financial statements for company accounts
  
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members, including personal tax returns, company accounts, corporation tax, and management accounts and VAT returns
  
• Providing tax planning advice for both companies and individuals
  
• Supporting a small team of qualified and part-qualified accountants
  
• Supervising, answering queries, and providing guidance to the team where necessary
  
• Managing client deadlines and ensuring timely delivery of work across the team
  

Requirements

• AAT, ACA, ACCA qualified or qualified
  by experience, with a career background in accountancy practice, working within
  small / medium / large independent firm background and/or, Top 50/ Mid or Top
  Tier firm experience.
  
• You will be likely operating around Accounts
  Senior or Manager level, delivering accounts and wider ranging
  accountancy practice services to a client base of sole traders, partnerships
  and limited company clients, across a wide spectrum of industries and turnover
  levels.
