Accounts and Tax Senior

Service Care Solutions are working alongside a leading accountancy firm who are looking for an accomplished Accounts and Tax Senior to join their supportive team on a permanent basis. Please find a description of the role below.

Role: Accounts and Tax Senior
Rate: £30,000 to £40,000 (based on qualifications, expereince and interview performance)
Location: Leicester
Working: Full-time, Hybrid (Ideally 3 days per week office attendance)

Role Overview:

• Prepare working papers, accounts files, and personal/corporate tax computations.
• Ensure all statutory disclosures and provisions are correctly included.
• Supervise, mentor, and review work of junior staff.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet client deadlines.
• Maintain regular client contact, including resolving queries and managing debt collection.
• Plan and manage your workload while identifying areas for process improvement.
• Support business development by spotting additional client needs.
• Attend training and stay up to date on technical developments and software.
• Contribute to admin tasks such as billing and compliance procedures.
• Part or fully qualified ACA/ACCA.
• Solid experience in accounts and tax within practice.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with client-facing experience.
• Capable of leading and developing junior team members.
• Proficient in accounting and tax software.
• Organised, proactive, and committed to ongoing learning.
