Accounts Assistant

Supporting the Financial Controller of our Huddersfield based client, this role will suit an accounts assistant looking to take the next step in their career. 

The role will ideally suit a finance assistant or accounts asisstant who has progressed with AAT, study support can be offered for further qualifications. 

Accounts Assistant responsibilities:

• Accurately process invoices, payments, and expenses
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain ledgers
• Support the month-end close and assist in financial reporting tasks
• Help monitor budgets and assist with cost analysis activities
• Respond to finance-related queries from colleagues

We are ideally looking for;

• Previous experience in a similar Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to daily finance tasks
• Ideally studying towards or already holding an AAT qualification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
