Description

Are you an experienced AAT-qualified Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy working in a close-knit finance team where no two days are the same?

If you're someone who thrives in a supportive, team-focused environment and enjoys rolling up your sleeves to get stuck into all areas of finance, we'd love to hear from you!

This is a genuinely varied and hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys seeing how everything fits together in a finance function. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing invoices and managing supplier payments

• Reconciling accounts and preparing journals

• Supporting month-end processes and reporting

• Assisting with VAT returns and expense claims

• Liaising across departments to support wider business needs

• Ad hoc finance tasks to support the team and finance manager

You'll be working closely with an experienced and friendly finance team who believe in supporting each other and making the day-to-day run smoothly - and with a smile where possible!

Profile

• AAT qualified (Level 3 or 4) with solid experience in a similar role

• A natural team player who brings a positive attitude to work

• Comfortable working in a busy, office-based environment

• Strong attention to detail and a good grasp of accounting processes

• Confident using Excel and finance systems (training can be given on specifics)
