Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounts Assistant to join our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks and supporting the broader team in achieving strategic financial objectives.

Description

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable activities
• Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents and procedures
• Collaborate with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts and in setting company budgets
• Analyse financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs
• Work closely with tax accountants to ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Assist in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members
• Contribute to financial strategy planning

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-working skills
