Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant (4 day work week after probation) - Bromley - £25,000 plus excellent benefits!

My client, a bespoke residential Block Management firm based in Bromley, are seeking an Accounts Assistant to support with the accounts general team with day to day tasks.

For the last year, the company have been trialling out the four day work week pilot, they foresee this continuing however this is subject to completion.

Opportunity to move into an Accounts Manager role or other within the Accounts team (as the team gets bigger!)

Responsibilities:

• Manage creditor statements and ensure that these are delegated to the property manager assistants, while also flagging and handling letter before actions
• Apply unit charges and general ledger transactions, which cover a range of areas (handover balances, demised charges, utility charges, key charges, correcting invoice G/L codes and creating G/L codes)
• Manage creditor forms and process new creditor forms/any updates
• Providing bank details to sites and new agents via PDF
• Provide remittances to contractors when requested and answer any queries that come through from them
• Using Metro Bank to confirm receipt of payment at request of external contact or PM, allocate or transfer payment as required, and making one off payments/transfers
• Use Xero/Metro to pay company overheads

Hours:

• After a 6 month probation: Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, work from home 5 days / month
• During 6 month probation: office based in Bromley Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
