Accounts Assistant

A client of ours in the Kelvedon area are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their small office team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm (40 hours) and paying £26,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Input, maintain, and review accounting records
• Reconcile bank and VAT filing
• Credit control
• Posting purchase invoices
• Managing profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Assist with year-end procedures
• Processing payments, invoices, and receipts
• Maintaining petty cash
• Answering and directing incoming calls

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Accounts Assistant position:

• AAT accountancy qualified
• Previous experience within an accounts role
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work within a small team
• You must be able to drive due to the location of the business
