Job Description - Accounts Assistant

The Role:
This is a vital position within the finance department, where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of financial operations. . This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, friendly finance team in a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily processing of bank transactions
Full responsibility for purchase ledger activities
Running monthly payroll using Sage Payroll
Reconciling bank, purchase ledger, and sales ledger accounts
Compiling weekly performance reports
Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts

We're looking for someone with:

Proven experience managing finance tasks in a fast-paced SME environment
A solid understanding of transactional finance
Hands-on experience with payroll and supporting month-end processes
Availability to start immediately or at short notice
