Accounts Assistant

CMC Consulting have partnered with a high end, luxury consumer business with their search for an Accounts Assistant. Due to year-on-year growth, the Accounts Assistant is required to support the Finance Manager with the day-to-day running of the finance function. With excellent benefits on offer, duties include:

• Accounts Payable: Process and manage outgoing payments, handle supplier queries, and ensure timely and accurate settlement of charges and chargebacks.
• Accounts Receivable: Support daily receipt processing, manage incoming payments, and maintain accurate records of customer transactions.
• Reconciliations: Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple currencies, reconcile credit card transactions, deferred income, intercompany balances, and other key balance sheet items.
• Month-End Support: Assist with revenue posting, commission reconciliation, P&L review, and other end-of-month procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Cashflow and Reporting: Update daily and weekly dashboards, maintain cashflow forecasts, and support regular financial reporting and contract data updates.
• Audit and Compliance: Assist with the preparation of year-end audit files and respond to audit-related queries, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

Ideally you will you have previous experience with Accounts Payable & Receivable and bank reconciliations, looking to develop further into your career.
