We are working with a dynamic business based in Tattenhall to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join a growing team.

Day to day, your role as Accounts Assistant will be:

• Supporting with month end accounts preparation and analysis
• Processing purchase ledger invoices, statement reconciliation, processing payments
• Bank reconciliations
• Inputting data into the system ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded
• Processing employee expenses, ensuring compliance with company policy
• Credit control, chasing and managing outstanding payments and debt collection

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant who has:

• Experience in a similar accounts or finance role
• Excellent numeracy skills, attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Good knowledge of accounting systems
• Experience covering accounts payable and receivable ideally
• Good commercial awareness
• Excellent work ethic and attitude
• Studying towards AAT would be advantageous
