Accounts Assistant

Fin Search recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis for a growing, market leading service provider based in Harrogate.

The business is operating a hybrid working model - 2 days in the office and 3 days at home each week.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to study towards ACCA/CIMA whilst gaining valuable and relevant experience in a role with lots of month end exposure by assisting with the production of monthly management accounts.

This role will work as part of a talented management accounts function headed up by an ACA qualified Head of Finance.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, preparing journals such as accruals and prepayments, maintaining accurate and up to date balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring supplier invoices are correctly coded, working on adhoc finance projects and analysis and liaising and building positive relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

The successful candidate will:

• Have had some experience in a finance role previous;
• Be looking to study towards/continue studying towards ACCA/CIMA
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have excellent attention to detail
