Join a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Penarth. We're looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to support our growing team and contribute to the excellent service we provide to a wide-ranging client base.

• Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts

• Bookkeeping and VAT returns for a varied client portfolio

• Purchase and sales ledger processing

• Bank reconciliations and journal postings

• Client communication and administrative support

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice is highly desirable

• Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, etc.)

• A proactive, detail-focused mindset and willingness to learn

• AAT qualification preferred - salary rises to £28,000 for Level 4

• Strong communication and organisational skills
