Accounts Assistant

Search are currently supporting a business based on the outskirts of York who are looking for a Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This role will be working within a small finance team with a friendly feel!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting with the Purchase Ledger for the business
• Producing weekly payment runs
• Ensuring ledgers are up to date and reviewing debtor reporting
• Matching of delivery notes and PO numbers to invoices
• Setting up new supplier accounts
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation of journals and assisting with month end

Successful Candidate will possess:

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Microsoft proficient
• Intermediate with Excel
• Ability to work to timed deadlines

Whats on offer:

• Salary up to £29000
• 40 hours per week with flexibility offered
