Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Dudley

Salary: £27,000 - £28,500

Top of the salary range will be offered to a candidate with previous experience working as an Accounts Assistant that can hit the ground running with the role.

We are currently recruiting for a value Reed client in Dudley! This is a brilliant opportunity for a bright and friendly candidate to join an established and busy team! The ideal candidate will have previous work experience Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Payroll. Experience in all the elements is desired but is not essential. The business is in an exciting period of growth so it’s a great time to join the energised team! The finance team is small and close-knit, they have a very low staff turnover and therefore team fit is key in this round of recruitment!

Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supporting the Credit Controller with Accounts Receivable tasks, including sending invoices and statements, and managing PODs.
• Administering company credit card expenses for 30–40 employees, including statement distribution and reconciliation.
• Assisting in Accounts Payable including processing invoices and creating the weekly payment run.
• Supporting the Payroller with a weekly Payroll.

Ideally, You Will:

• Have previous experience in a similar accounts role, in order to hit the ground running with the team.
• Be proactive, motivated, and demonstrate a strong work ethic!
• Be flexible and willing to support across different areas of finance when needed.
