Accounts Assistant

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

• Day-to-day bookkeeping using Microsoft Business Central.
• Bank reconciliations and managing both accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitoring and chasing overdue payments to minimise debt.
• Producing aged debtor reports and credit analysis.
• Supporting VAT returns and month-end procedures.
• Assisting with audit preparation and year-end accounts.

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:

• Ideally 2-3 years’ experience in finance with a solid understanding of debits and credits.
• Confident in using accounting software (Business Central experience a bonus).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Experience in SMEs or multi-entity environments is advantageous.
