Job Description - Accounts Assistant

Are you looking to grow your finance career with a successful and forward-thinking business? We're working with an impressive and growing construction company in North London that is seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant to join their team.

You'll be working closely with three experienced accountants, gaining valuable hands-on experience and ongoing support as you develop your skills within a dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the Purchase Ledger function
Performing Bank Reconciliations
Processing supplier and subcontractor payments
Allocating costs to the correct projects and departments
Assisting with month-end duties and reporting

What We're Looking For:

A recent finance graduate, AAT student, or someone with 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role
A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work
Good Excel skills and a willingness to learn
A positive attitude and strong communication skills
