Accounts Assistant

My client is a fast-growing company based in the UK with a newly-established US office. This is a highly technical field that offers the opportunity to work in one of the fastest growing global industries with some of the biggest and most cutting-edge companies in the world. This role will take ownership and responsibility of all purchase, sales ledger and banking functions.

Key Responsibilities

· Bank reconciliations

· Monthly reports

· Purchase ledger and sales ledger

· Raising sales invoices and preparing/reviewing payments

· Managing debtors and creditors and preparing payment runs

· Assisting with month and year end accounts

· Any ad hoc financial and office administration

Qualifications and experience:

Essential:

· Previous experience within a financial function

· PC literate

· Excellent experience of transactional finance (AP/AR/nominal ledger/banking). Supplier and Customer query resolution

· Proactive, highly organised and show excellent attention to detail.

· Trustworthy, responsible, confident and flexible in approach.

· Ability to work on your own also within a team.

Desirable:

· AAT Qualification or equivalent experience

· SAP Business One (training will be given)

· MSOffice intermediate to advanced skill

This role is office based - 5 days a week - Monday to Friday. They have parking. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to an office role.
