We're working on behalf of our client based in the south side of Glasgow to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid accounts payable experience who is keen to develop further in a fast-paced environment, working closely with the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing and posting supplier invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and intercompany balances
• Matching purchase orders and delivery notes to invoices
• Liaising with suppliers to resolve discrepancies
• Producing monthly payment runs and internal cost reports
• Bank reconciliations and handling banking duties
• Raising internal sales invoices
• Verifying sub-contractors and submitting monthly CIS returns
• Handling fuel returns and staff expenses

• Proven experience in accounts payable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong team player with a proactive attitude
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
