?? Your Role in the Journey

This isn't your typical Assistant Accountant role. You'll become an integral part of an expanding finance team based at the Hinton Estate, collaborating across dynamic sectors like carbon markets, leisure, property and agriculture. It's about more than numbers-it's about insight, impact, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Processing transactions across multiple entities
• Supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, and data integrity
• Delivering real-time financial information to guide business decisions
• Assisting with VAT returns and year-end financials
• Getting involved in cross-team collaboration with estate managers and trading businesses

?? What We're Looking ForWe're after a proactive, analytical individual who thrives on variety, autonomy, and purpose. You're tech-savvy, Excel-confident, and able to turn data into actionable insight. You love getting under the hood of businesses to understand what makes them tick.

Must-Haves:

• Solid finance experience across commercial operations
• Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge
• A calm, self-disciplined attitude and a love for problem solving
• Clear communication and team spirit
• An interest in rural business, property or leisure is a bonus
• High volume transactions - deferred incomes - VAT returns
• Reconciling very high-volume bank accounts
