Permanent | £27,500 | Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm | Office-based in Stamford

We're recruiting for a fast-paced and growing business seeking a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and dedicated team.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the Head of Finance with a variety of financial tasks—primarily focused on bank reconciliations, control accounts, and managing high-volume transactions. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative team with strong career development potential.

Roles and responsibilities but not limited to:

• Reconciling bank and control accounts
• Matching incoming payments to customer records
• Working with acquirer reports to verify transaction accuracy
• Preparing and allocating customer invoices
• Building weekly international outbound payment runs
• Supporting finance projects and weekly balance sheet analysis
• Assisting customers with finance queries and dashboard support
• Liaising across departments to resolve internal finance queries

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 1 year in a financial/finance assistant role
• Strong Excel and numerical skills
• Comfortable handling large volumes of transactions and multi-currency accounts
• Eager to learn and grow within a finance function
