We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join this client-focused accountancy practice based in Medway. You will be the go-to person for a portfolio of sole traders, landlords, and individuals. Supporting everything from day-to-day bookkeeping to Self Assessment returns, year-end accounts, and even cash flow reporting.

What we are looking for
AAT Level 2+ (ideally Level 3 or working towards)
At least 2 years’ experience in a practice or multi-client bookkeeping environment
Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, or similar cloud tools
Confident preparing and submitting Self Assessments and Sole Trader Accounts
Comfortable working with sole trader and limited company records
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Friendly, empathetic communicator, especially over the phone
It’s a bonus if you have:
Experience submitting Capital Gains Tax via the UK Property Reporting Service
Familiarity with automation tools like Dext, AutoEntry, or KPI dashboards
