Job Type: Full-time - Onsite 5 days a week

Salary: £28000

Reed has partnered with an exciting UK business that is seeking a Accounts Assistant to join their team. They are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and confident Accounts Assistant to join the finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing and credit control.
• Handle the purchase ledger, including processing supplier invoices and reconciling statements.
• Support with credit control
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with year end process
• Prepare and monitor budgets, providing budget reporting to management.
• Collaborate with other departments to forecast cash flow and manage credit risk.
• Send payment requests to customers and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts.
• Process invoices and credit notes efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of sales and purchase ledger processes.
• Proficient in budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
