Job Title: Junior Accounts Assistant

Location: Twickenham

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum

My client is a dynamic and innovative gaming company located in the Richmond area. They are seeking a talented Junior Accounts Assistant to join our established team.

Role Overview: As a Junior Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in the finance department. Responsibilities:

1. Sales Ledger:
   • Process sales invoices promptly and accurately.
   • Assist with UK warehouse invoicing.
   • Review, reconcile, and process discounts and allowances.
   • Perform account reconciliations.
   • Support credit control efforts.
   • Handle Amazon sales invoicing and payment reconciliations.
2. Purchase Ledger:
   • Manage supplier invoicing and statements.
   • Handle credit card expenses.
   • Assist with UK factory invoices.
   • Support UK purchase ledger activities.
   • Process expenses.
   • Participate in weekly payment runs.
3. Banking:
   • Post cashbook entries and allocate transactions.
4. Month-End Tasks:
   • Reconcile cashbooks.
   • Perform aged creditors reconciliations.
   • Reconcile third-party warehouse and supplier accounts.
5. Other Responsibilities:
   • Administer reseller certificates.
   • Assist with ad hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• AAT qualification or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
