Accounts Assistant . This is an exciting opportunity for someone studying their

ACCA/CIMA .
This position provides outstanding exposure to various accounting functions and ample opportunities for career advancement.

4 days in 1

from home
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE
Location: City of London
What can you expect?
Ensure bank reconciliations are completed in accordance with the month end timetable.
Set up payments on the various banking portals, as and when requested.
Complete quarterly VAT returns and ensure POA are made in a timely manner.
Assist with any audit requests that may arise at year end.
Complete various reconciliations - supplier statements, balance sheet, etc.
Providing cover for Accounts Receivable bank postings.
Assisting with process reviews i.e. writing process notes.
Any other ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
What skills and attributes will you bring?
Proven relevant experience working in accounts teams (minimum 2 years).
Studying AAT or ACCA.
Intermediate to advanced Excel user.
High attention to detail (essential).
Inquisitive mindset, keen to get involved in all areas of finance.
Effective communicator with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Organised mind-set with the ability to multi-task.
Adaptable, flexible and open to learning new skills, developing expertise and taking instruction.
