We have a fantastic opportunity for a reputable industrial services client looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Finance Team on a full time permanent basis. This role is based in Birkenhead and will be full time on site however there is potential for hybrid working after 6 months within the business.
Salary is dependent on experience but ranging from

£25,000pa - £28,000pa.
Responsibilities of the role as a Accounts Assistant:
Bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts.
Monitor and reconcile staff expenses.
Assisting in producing invoices, statements, reconciling accounts and allocating payments.
Assisting with ensuring timely payment and dealing with any queries.
Assisting in all aspects of raising PO's, posting supplier invoices, reconciling accounts to statements.
Assisting with Payroll & Pensions.
Assisting with quarterly VAT return preparation and submission.
Essential requirements of the role:
Knowledge of HMRC CIS & DRC Vat schemes.
Basic accounting software experience.
Strong excel knowledge and experience.
Previous experience within a finance role / team.
CRM system experience would be beneficial.
