Accounts Assistant - Global Law Firm

Ryder Reid Legal is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the dynamic team of one of our prestigious, global law firm clients at their London office. Reporting to the Financial Controller and assisting the Director of Finance and Administration, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, running GL reports, analysing and posting journals, and assisting with tax accounts and annual budget preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• General accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Payroll reporting and liaising with HMRC.
• Compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules and assisting with SRA audits.
• Supporting other accounting departments, including Accounts Payable and Billing.

Candidate Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in an accounts role.
• Understanding of double entry bookkeeping.
• AAT L2 or higher preferred.
• Experience with 3E is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Initiative and intermediate Excel knowledge.
