Accounts Assistant or Semi-Senior

TPF Recruitment is delighted to be representing an esteemed firm of chartered accountants in Eastleigh in their search for an Accounts Assistant or Semi-Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual looking to further their career within a supportive and dynamic environment, with career progression on offer.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparation of statutory accounts.
  
• Assisting with management accounts production.
  
• Personal tax, corporate tax and VAT returns.
  
• General bookkeeping duties using Xero or Quickbooks.
  
• Support senior accountants and managers with audit assignments.
  
• Liaise directly with clients to gather necessary information and resolve queries.
  

• You will have at least 18 months experience within an accountancy practice.
  
• You will be ACA/ ACCA part qualified or AAT level 4 qualified, although candidates with relevant practice experience, who fall just short of the qualification criteria will also be considered.
  
• You will have hands on experience of accounts, tax and VAT preparation.
  

• Salary circa £25,000 - £35,000 per annum. Negotiable.
