Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger

Grafton Banks Finance is working exclusively with a well-established business based in Croydon to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant for an immediate start. This is a great opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger professional to join a supportive finance team on a full-time, office-based basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process company payments, post invoices, and reconcile transactions

• Perform bank reconciliations, manage customer accounts, and respond to financial queries.
• Support credit control processes, including chasing payments and preparing monthly reports.
• Assist with general purchase ledger tasks and wider finance administration.
• Contribute to the management of staff incentive schemes and support with ad hoc finance duties.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Available to start immediately or on short notice (July start date essential).
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts payable or purchase ledger.
• Confident user of Excel and Sage.
• Able to commute to the Croydon office daily.
